Peshawar - The PPP has called a meeting on Thursday (tomorrow) to formulate strategy on the upcoming Local Bodies elections scheduled to be held in Cantonment areas in September this year.
To be chaired by Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo, President, PPP Central Punjab, it will be attended by the divisional coordinators, district Presidents, members of the Executive Committee and the Presidents of the allied wings.
The focus of the deliberations will be how to get maximum number of PPP candidates elected throughout the province.
Instructions will be issued to party rank and file to spring into action and mobilise support for the PPP candidates.
The meeting would also finalise arrangements to ensure maximum participation of workers at Ghari Khuda Bux to commemorate the death anniversary of party founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto falling on April 4.
