Operation against all religious, political parties possessing militant wings: Asif

Islamabad- Water and Power Minister Khawaja Asif has called for action against political and religious parties having militant wings.

While talking to journalists outside Parliament House today, he said that the state was carrying out operation against militant outfits, irrespective of their affiliation and connections. The minister said that some people were using religion to propagate and promote their personal interest, which will not be tolerated.

Answering a question, Asif denied confirming that banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Chief Mullah Fazullah has been killed by security forces, in the Tirah Valley. The minister also said that load-shedding will be manageable in the summer. Answering another questions, he said that the plummeted oil prices have contributed to price slash of daily used items.
