Peshawar - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued schedule for the upcoming local bodies’ elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and notified that polling will be held on May 30, 2015.
As per the election commission schedule, the nomination papers will be submitted from April 13 to April 17.
Scrutiny of the nomination papers will be made from April 20 to April 25.
Appeals and objections on nomination papers will be made from April 26 to 28 and will be redressed up to May 05.
Similarly, polling for the local bodies elections will be held on May 30 while results will be announced till June 10, 2015.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has started preparation for the upcoming local bodies’ polls and they have sorted names from party local organisation to send their names to the provincial secretariat.
