PAKPATTAN - Unidentified miscreants shot dead a shopkeeper and set ablaze his dead body here on Thursday. The incident took place in Mohallah Jhanjranwala where unidentified accused killed shopkeeper Riaz when he was asleep in courtyard of his house and later put the body on fire to disfigure it.
Neighbours of the deceased who had no child, told the police that Riaz who ran a general store at Mohallah Pirkot Road, had accused some persons of the area of robbery in his shop through a ‘Panchiyat’ few days ago. They suspected that the incident might be result of the dispute. The police registered a case and started investigation.
