At least five illegal agents were nabbed and others managed to escape during an FIA raid at Regional Passport Office.
An FIA team had been called by Regional Passport Officer Fawad Tariq Cheema to take action against agents involved in swindling and extortion of the applicants. It arrested Qazi Zubair, Saleemullah Niazi, Rafiullah, Shah jee and Zahid and initiated legal proceeding against them. Meanwhile, the Sargodha DPO also deputed police officials to restrain gathering of agents there during passport office timing.
Regional Passport Officer Fawad Tariq Cheema urged the masses to avoid such agents in any matter concerning to passport office.
